Position Title: Practitioner: Disability Management Unit
Location: Regional Office, Cape Town
Salary: R376 413 – R443 403 per annum (Salary Level 8), exclusive of benefits

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education: A 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) recognized by SAQA in the relevant field.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
Skills: Proficiency in computer applications.
Additional Advantages:
A valid driver’s license.
Strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
As a Practitioner in the Disability Management Unit, you will:
Oversee disability-related inquiries and coordinate medical appeals and assessments.
Facilitate communication with stakeholders, including the Department of Health and contracted medical practitioners.
Monitor adherence to Disability Management models within the region.
Draft correspondence and prepare statistical and status reports for the Disability Management Unit.
Support the implementation of projects and ensure compliance with financial management regulations, including the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
