This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the department’s goal of ensuring safety and order within Gauteng.
Position: Administration Clerk – Traffic Management Corridor Coordination

Location: Inspectorate (X1), Merafong Regional Office (X1)
Salary Package: R216,417 per annum plus service benefits

Key Responsibilities
As an Administration Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in supporting traffic management and administration processes. Key duties include:
Administrative Support:
Organizing, storing, capturing, and retrieving data.
Updating registers, statistics, and correspondence.
Handling enquiries and distributing documents to stakeholders.
Maintaining filing systems, attendance registers, and leave records.
Procurement and Logistics:
Liaising with stakeholders for procurement of goods/services.
Obtaining quotations and managing office supplies and stationery.
Arranging travel and accommodation logistics.
Traffic Management Coordination:
Capturing and updating traffic infringement data on eNATIS.
Managing AARTO/face value documents and issuing GP733/J534 forms.
Compiling monthly reports and ensuring compliance with protocols.
Additional Duties:
Supporting the asset manager with inventory updates.
Handling routine clerical tasks like photocopying and emailing.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / NQF Level 5 qualification.
At least 1 year of experience in administrative services (advantageous).
Clean criminal record or pending cases.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in basic financial and clerical procedures.
Computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Basic understanding of HR matters and labour relations.
Communication, data capturing, and procurement skills.
