Job Description

The Teller role reports directly to the Counting House Manager and is essential for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of cash handling processes. The primary responsibilities include counting and verifying money, operating money counting machines, balancing and reconciling funds, and packing ATMs. The position demands a high level of precision and adherence to cash processing procedures to ensure that all financial transactions are conducted smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Adherence to Cash Processing Procedures: The Teller must follow detailed cash processing procedures to ensure that all money handling is accurate and secure. This involves meticulously counting and verifying cash to prevent errors or discrepancies.
  2. Cash Counting and Verification: One of the core responsibilities is to count and verify client’s money, ensuring that all amounts are correct and match the records. This task requires great attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Balancing and Reconciling Money: The Teller is responsible for balancing and reconciling the cash at the end of each shift or as required, ensuring that all funds are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
  4. Operating Money Counting Machines: Proficiency in using money counting machines is required. The Teller will operate these machines to facilitate the efficient counting and processing of large volumes of cash.

Minimum Requirements
