The Learning Programme Plant Operator position at Matla Power Station is aimed at filling 15 vacancies. Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates interested in this programme must meet specific educational requirements, which include:

  • National N6 Certificate with Trade Subjects or a National Diploma.
  • Alternatively, candidates with B TechB Eng, or BSc Eng in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering are encouraged to apply.
  • Other acceptable qualifications include:
    • National N4/N5 Certificate with Trade Subjects.
    • Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and Physical Science, and 40% in English.
    • N3 Certificate with 50% in Mathematics and Science, and 40% in English.
    • NCV Level 4 with 50% in Mathematics and Science, and 40% in English.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a recruitment process and, if selected, will be placed in various Eskom Operations divisions.
