Learnership Program Overview
We are excited to offer an opportunity for unemployed youth to join our Learnership Program for the 2024/2025 intake, based in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, and Durban. Successful candidates will participate in a 12-month Clearing and Forwarding Agent NQF 5 learnership program. This program aims to provide theoretical knowledge in Freight Forwarding, practical work experience, and enhance future employability.
Role Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, assist with import/export processes and activities to optimize service and performance.
- Perform repetitive documentation tasks such as receiving, reconciling, and summarizing documents and information.
- Support and maintain operational systems as instructed.
- Carry out back-office duties including scanning, filing, and reporting.
- Follow defined processes and systems for task delivery.
- Primarily interact with team members and communicate information requiring minimal explanation.
- Address task-related issues to maintain effective work relationships.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric with English (65%) – Ensure a copy of your certificate is attached with your application.
- Aged between 18 to 30 years.
- South African citizen.
- Not currently employed or studying.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office) is advantageous.
- Selection will be in accordance with the Company’s Employment Equity Policy.
