Learnership Description
The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enrol in an external Unemployed 4 months Cadet program.
Our Mining Cadet Program is an enrichment program for the community and will enable you to develop skills with on-the-job/core training at Mogalakwena Complex. This program will enable you to maximize your potential and provide you with a tailored plan to make a difference in the future.
Requirements:
Application requirements include the following:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science and English, (Mathematics Literacy will not be considered)
- Must have obtained a pass mark of 40% and above
- Must be medically fit
- Must be prepared to work on surface
- Work in accordance with the work schedule of the area and could possibly involve working shifts
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
- South African Driver’s license will be advantageous
Selection Criteria:
- Must pass the relevant psychometric assessment
- Must have a medical certificate of fitness or be able to obtain one
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
