Internship Description
Thabazimbi Local Municipality invites applications for five (05) Municipal Financial Management Internship Programme posts that are available in the field of Municipal Finance. Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
The internship provides an opportunity for graduates to gain the necessary application skills as well as “hands-on” work experience in all fields of Municipal Finances and Municipal Financial Administration.
Position Title: Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme
Reference Number: 016/05/2024
Duration: Twenty-four (24) Months Contract)
Salary: Between R9 000 – R10 000 per month. (All-inclusive remuneration package).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma with majors in:
- Accounting,
- Economics,
- Finance,
- Risk Management or
- Auditing, among others.
- The candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 35.
NB. The intern will sign both an employment contract and an internship agreement. The purpose of the agreement is to ensure commitment to the programme which requires, amongst others, full participation in the educational and workplace assignments and observance of policies and procedures of the municipality.
