South African Airways (SAA) is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join their Cabin Crew team. As a Cabin Crew member, you will be responsible for ensuring the on-board safety of customers and providing a 5-star customer experience on-board.

Job Purpose:
– Ensure on-board safety of customers
– Provide a 5-star customer experience on-board
– Comply with touch-point standards, service procedures, and duties defined for the aircraft type operated
– Resolve conflicts and disputes for customers on all flights
– Promote the Corporate Brand and protect the company’s goodwill
– Adhere to standard operating procedures and report to the Purser on all aircraft
Principal Accountabilities:
– Implement Inflight Services strategy and plan
– Provide recommendations to support strategy implementation
– Manage budget and contain costs on-board
– Ensure correct application of processes and systems
– Utilize resources effectively
– Execute work outputs according to customer requirements
– Adhere to Governance and Risk Management policies
– Deliver regular reporting to key stakeholders
– Participate in continuous optimization programs
– Manage emergency situations on-board
– Maintain sound interaction between customers, flight deck crew, Purser, and cabin crew
Qualifications and Experience:
– Grade 12
– Relevant 3-year Diploma at NQF level 6 (advantageous)
– CCM qualification obtained in the last 5 years (advantageous)
– Fluency in English
– Ability to swim
– Weight proportional to height (minimum 1.58m)
– Maximum body mass index of 35
– Additional foreign languages (advantageous)
– Reliable transport
– Ability to work without supervision
– Well-groomed with no visible tattoos

– Understanding of relevant Cabin Services collective agreements, policies, procedures, standards, and legislation
– Good interpersonal skills
