 The Technical Services Trainee programme at SAB/ABInBev is a 18-month programme designed to develop technical skills and experience for graduates, familiarizing them with the company culture and principles. The programme aims to equip trainees with the necessary skills to take on an area of responsibility immediately after completion.

The programme is primarily a hands-on, self-study program where the trainee is expected to gain a full understanding of the theory, principles, and operation of Utilities equipment across the Brewery. Key outputs and responsibilities include:

– Participation in projects in Utilities aligned to the program requirements and brewery priorities

– Application of VPO principles
– Diagnosis of systemic and situational problems and troubleshooting
– Participation in Utilities team structures, including acting roles in identified leadership positions within Utilities
– Communication of learnings and solutions across various levels of the business

The ideal candidate should have:

– Minimum BSc or B-Tech Qualification in Mechanical/Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
– 2 years of Utilities experience (advantageous)

The QA Trainee Programme at SAB/ABInBev is a 18-24 month programme designed to develop QA skills and experience for trainees, familiarizing them with SAB philosophies. The programme aims to equip trainees with the necessary skills to take on an area of responsibility immediately after completion.

The programme is looking for a QA trainee with technical expertise to learn and contribute in a high-performing professional manufacturing environment. The trainee will be required to assess and make informed decisions regarding governance systems, review system designs, ensure sustainability, and mitigate product and package risks.

Key outputs and responsibilities include:

– Applying principles of quality assurance and quality control
– Understanding and applying quality assurance expertise in the broader value chain context
– Applying quality assurance practices within a specific functional area
– Designing new processes and systems using theoretical, problem-solving, and lateral thinking
– Communicating practices and solutions to the team
– Participating in QA team structures
– Diagnosing systemic and situational problems
– Interfacing with other brewery disciplines to meet functional and/or project management objectives

The ideal candidate should have:

– B. Tech/BSc in a relevant field of study
– 2 years of quality control related experience in an FMCG environment (advantageous)
– Demonstrable problem-solving skills
– Excellent self-management practices
– Proactive, energetic, and committed
– Flexible, adaptable, and pragmatic
– Action-oriented, proactive, self-sufficient, conscientious, motivated, tenacious, and resilient

– High tolerance for stress and managing operational realities
– Willingness to relocate to any brewery within the zone post-conclusion of the traineeship
