Job Opportunity: Security Guard at FlySafair
FlySafair, a leading aviation company, is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard to join their team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security
of the FlySafair facility, personnel, and assets. This is a permanent position offering a market-related salary.Key Responsibilities:
– Monitor and control access to and from the FlySafair facility
– Ensure only authorized personnel, vehicles, materials, and assets enter, move within, and leave the facility
– Assist with removing violators from the premises when required
– Stay alert for signs of criminal activity or disturbances and engage with relevant stakeholders
– Report suspicious incidents and/or activities
– Patrol facilities and perimeter as required
– Assist with Ad Hoc duties as needed
– Conduct general searches of vehicles and valuables
Requirements:
– Grade 12 or equivalent
– Security Certificate Grade C (Essential)
– Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
– Basic Security knowledge
– Aviation knowledge (Advantageous)
