Key Responsibilities
As a participant in the Eskom YES Program, your responsibilities will include various tasks within the finance department. These tasks are designed to provide a broad understanding of finance operations and contribute to your overall professional development. - Financial Data Entry and Management:
- Accurately entering financial data into the company’s financial systems.
- Maintaining and updating financial records to ensure they are current and accurate.

- Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment to vendors.
- Managing customer invoices and tracking payments.
- Reconciling accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitoring budget implementation and expenditures.
- Providing support in analyzing financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Auditing and Compliance:
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assisting in the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conducting financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Preparing reports on financial performance, trends, and variances.

Selection Criteria
- Employment History: Should not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than 1 year.
- Education: Should not be studying full-time in the year of employment.
- Previous Participation: Should not have participated/registered in the YES initiative before.
- Recruitment Process: Applicants will undergo a recruitment process, and successful candidates will be placed in Eskom Operations across the Cluster.
