Artisan Assistant Job Description
As an Artisan Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting electricians and technicians with daily maintenance and various duties. This role involves basic electrical duties, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality work while adhering to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical duties under supervision, including the use of electrical hand equipment (grinder, drill, test meters) and basic welding.
- Clean cables and electrical equipment during daily maintenance.
- Comply with health and safety standards during maintenance tasks.
- Deliver high-quality work in a neat and professional manner.
- Be willing to undergo training towards further qualification.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/NQF4
- Strong mechanical and electrical experience in both fields
- Essential troubleshooting skills
- Valid trade certificate (advantageous)
- Applicable knowledge and skills
