The Adidas store in Johannesburg, South Africa is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will assist management in day-to-day store maintenance,
provide excellent customer service, and observe and maintain all store policies and procedures.The essential duties and responsibilities of this role include:
– Providing exceptional customer service to ensure the highest level of adidas service
– Completing sales transactions and handling cash, credit, and checks
– Assisting with product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor
– Ensuring Company assets and stock are secured to prevent shrinkage
– Assisting in the development of displays and merchandise
– Acquiring proficiency with the point-of-sale system
– Maintaining general housekeeping standards and safekeeping of Company assets
The ideal candidate will have:
– A Matric certificate
– 0-1 year of retail experience
– Excellent listening and customer service skills
– Ability to meet sales goals and sell to customer needs
– High energy level and people skills
