Job Description
The Risk and Compliance department is seeking an intern to support and assist the current Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Team with day-to-day activities. Ideal candidates must have a passion for people and delivering excellent service in a deadline-oriented environment.
This program provides graduates with workplace experience and the opportunity to practice the skills they have studied, helping them prepare for their future careers. Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Internship Key Responsibilities
- Assist the OHS Team with daily activities.
- Support tasks related to risk management and compliance.
- Deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships and engage professionally with team members.
- Take initiative and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent.
- Occupational Health and Safety Diploma/Qualifications.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- No prior work experience required.

Internship Eligibility
To qualify for the INSETA Internship program, candidates must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Not have previously participated in an internship with INSETA.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Have been unemployed for the last two months.
