Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Administrator to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising shift staff, determining processing priorities, and attending to specific tasks/jobs on our multiplatform computer systems. This is a permanent position reporting to the Manager (Operations).
Key Responsibility Areas:
– Supervise and train shift staff
– Ensure processing on multiplatform systems (mainframe, AS400, Open Systems) is done according to procedures and instructions
– Prepare workload on computer systems and ensure run schedules are completed as per agreement
– Monitor activities on multiplatform consoles
– Escalate production problems that would impact service level agreements
– Hand over to next shift all occurrences on the shift handover document

– 3 Years relevant experience

We are seeking a highly skilled Advertising Contracts Officer to join our team in Durban.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assessing advertising opportunities and signage applications, facilitating advertising contracts and agreements, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and bylaws.
This is a permanent position reporting to the Manager (General Advertising Compliance & Contracts Management).
Key Responsibility Areas:
– Assess advertising opportunities and proposals on Council and private property
– Facilitate advertising contracts and agreements
– Assess advertising applications in priority zones in terms of bylaws
– Liaise with developers, professionals, general public, and organs of government, and other departments on advertising matters
– Investigate advertising objections and appeals
– Maintain filing and database systems
– Provide specialist input and support at special projects, programmes, and meetings
– Undertake mentoring and training of Signage Inspectors and Signage Assistors
