Job Description:
As a Retail Store Cashier at Dis-Chem Pharmacies, your primary responsibility is to manage customer transactions efficiently while ensuring adherence to Dis-Chem’s security policies and procedures. You will also be expected to address customer queries regarding store merchandise, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate cash registers proficiently and maintain cash drawers accurately.
Process sales, refunds, and payments with precision and efficiency.
Address customer queries regarding store merchandise promptly and courteously.
Adhere strictly to Dis-Chem’s security policies and procedures to safeguard store assets and minimize losses.
Analyze basic reports to identify trends or issues related to sales transactions.
Demonstrate emotional intelligence and social awareness in interactions with customers and colleagues.
Uphold accountability for all transactions and activities undertaken during shifts.
Exercise problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints or issues effectively.
Manage time efficiently to ensure smooth flow of customer transactions.
