Position: Emergency Care Officers Internship Program (1120 Positions)

Directorate: Emergency Medical Services
Salary: Monthly Stipend of R 5 000.00 p/m Duration of Contract: 12 months
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Driver’s license (preferred).
- Current and valid registration with HPCSA as (BAA / ILS/ ECT/ECA).
- Candidates will undergo formal written tests and interviews.
- Valid RSA ID document.
Duties:
- Ensure compliance with departmental and Gauteng EMS policies and standard operating procedures.
- Promptly attend all dispatched emergency calls.
- Adhere to EMS and HPCSA procedures.
- Co-ordinate and treat patients and other emergencies within the operational area.
- Maintain high standards of customer etiquette and communication.
- Ensure station compliance with EMS regulations.
- Attend employer-identified training.
