TVET Colleges Now Taking 2024 Online Applications - Colleges That Are Open For 2024

Technical Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) Colleges are tertiary institutions which focus on vocational and occupational education and training with the aim of preparing students to become functional workers in a skilled trade.

There are 50 registered TVET Colleges located across South Africa and they have now opened their applications for the 2024 academic year.

TVET Colleges will mostly all have the same application cycles and similar application periods. If you're looking to study at a specific TVET College, it is advisable to check their websites and social media pages for specific application dates.

How To Submit Your TVET College Application

Applications can be done at the campus or online and applicants will have to submit certified copies of their ID, latest results, parent/guardian ID and proof of residence along with their application.

Will TVET Colleges Take NSFAS?

Students are provided with assistance when applying for financial aid such as the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). NSFAS provides financial assistance to South African students who come from low income households and plan to study at public universities and TVET colleges.

Colleges That Are Open For 2024

While all TVET Colleges will have opened applications for their 2024 courses some months ago, there may still be a chance to apply and register for the course you are interested in.

Unless a course is already significantly over-subscribed there are usually last-minute changes where students decide to study other courses. This could lead to the course you are looking for becoming available.

We will publicise on our website all spaces on late courses that become available. You should also make contact with your local TVET College to see what they are saying about last minute availability.
