X18 Life Guards Vacancies at Great Kei Local Municipality
- Division: Community Services
- Position: 18 x Temporal Life Guards
- Remuneration: R250. 00 per day
- Duration: 15 December 2023 to 15 January 2024
The Municipality is looking for a highly motivated; suitably qualified, and experienced individuals to fill the vacant temporary positions of Life Guards in the following beaches:
Kei Mouth; Morgans Bay; Haga- Haga, Chintsa East; Chintsa West & Glen Eden.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic Lifeguard certificate for pools or the beaches;
- To be a good swimmer;
- Good powers of concentration;
- Good communication skills;
- Goad eyesight; and
- Ability to remain calm while under pressure
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- To be available for the set duration in all Great Kei Municipality Beaches;
- To deliver equipment and carry out the tasks in all beaches;
- To ensure that the municipal beaches are fully safe, secure and compliant with applicable legislative requirements;
- To ensure that people’s lives are safe and protected while at the beaches;
- To do foot patrols along beaches;
- To apply first aid and rescue people in the beaches
