In order to study for a South African degree applicants are required to have achieved a South African National Senior Certificate with a degree endorsement. All International applicants with high school qualifications achieved outside of the Republic of South Africa require a certificate of exemption from the Matriculation Board of South Africa for admission into undergraduate studies.
APPLICATION AND CLOSING DATE
Applications open on 01 April of the year preceding the year of intended study and closes on 31 October 2024 at 12:00.

Applicants who are attending or have attended a University within or outside the Republic of South Africa, must submit an academic transcript that covers the period of study, especially if they intend on being granted exemption from modules or courses at University.

Applicants from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Congo Brazzaville will have to apply for Matriculation Exemption directly with Matriculation Board. Please submit all correctly certified copies by mail when applying by hardcopy application or e-mail when have applied online.
The University faculties have different APS (Admission Points System) for admission. It is important that when applying to the University applicants include copy of school leaving results and/or academic record if they have studied at the university.
